 Occasional iseries usage and Nexus. I am an occasional iseries user and do not need a lot of sophisticated features in a 5250 terminal emulator. For this reason I was on the search for a free emulator. That is what I thought I was getting too. However somehow the links got mixed up and I ended up with a trial version of a commercial product.
In any case it is fine for my use. Hotspots are always nice. I wish I put the reset key on the toolbar as I am using a mac and don't have the key I need on the keyboard.

I was looking for a function-rich cheaper alternative to Hummingbird and didn't care about any XTERM functionality. TN3270 filled the bill quite nicely. I am using it to provide the terminal interface to a TXSeries system on AIX. So far, it has performed flawlessly. One thing that could be improved is the terminal model choices on the pull-down when configuring the session properties. I had to play around and guess at things in order to get it to connect. The model of choice is IBM-3278-2 (if memory serves me correctly) and I had to supply IBM-3279-2 to make ...
 Opinion. Am looking for API to use with Visual Basic to get access to the 3287 Printer data stream. Didn't find anyway to do this with your product, so it doesn't meet my needs at this time. Thanks, anyway. -Mark.
 Would not work for me I could not get TN3270 to work due to lack of a license key. My understanding is that it is shareware, thus for use up to 30 days before paying. I rated everything poor due to inability to evaluate.
 Looked at it and it looks good. Looked at the software and from first glance it appears to work.
Does not have a page limit of 28 so it does not kick me out I can actualy use the software and get the look and feal of it.
It probably will do what we need it to do.
 TN3270 Plus This is a functional and easy to use program.

It is really a good software it has many options and more features , which the other emulators for AS400 not have it is very useful for me.....
 I double clicked the executable and chose a folder. A README.txt and link to your webpage was unpacked into that folder, so I deleted the folder and the download. Was there supposed to be something else installed?
Could not get to work Due to lack of a license, I could not get this to work. I was under the impression that it is freeware. I have rated everything as fair because I could not evaluate it.
z/scope 3270 I downloaded the trial version and it worked great on my work computer. But i am having problems connecting from home. I think the problems are with my firewall not the product.
 Review of z/Scope I have only used the product for about two days, but I find that it's not that different from the standard CA supplied with most AS400's or iSeries.Other products on the marketplace have better functionality.

Eval is useless Hi..
I thought an eval period is there to test the features and buy or delete based on the experiences...
Well... Of how much use is an eval of an CD emulator if you can't mount ISO images? The thing was gone off my system within minutes...
Can't really speak for the full version, as I'm not going to pay without seeing that it indeed suits my needs..
